God of War Collectors Edition Unboxing!

I’ve always loved the God of War games. The mix of a great story and solid fighting mechanics made the franchise a must have for Playstation owners. The newest addition in the series dumps the Greek mythology and goes all in on the Norse mythology. I personally like that move; it keeps the series fresh. I went out and got the collectors edition that I unbox in the video below. Have you picked up the new God of War game yet? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 109!

A very calm week but I did get an amazing new game for the PS4 (that I already finished!)

Detective Pikachu (3DS)

I got this because it looked interesting and fun and something totally different from the normal Pokémon games. I haven’t played it yet but I very much look forward to it!

Far Cry 5 Deluxe Edition (PS4)

My God; what a game. The story is great, the gameplay is a ton of fun and there’s a lot to keep you busy if you don’t want to follow the story. I have finished the game in around 18 hours and I enjoyed every minute of it. If you liked Far Cry 3/4 then you need to play this one!

Iron Man Unmasked and Black Widow Pop Vinyl Figures

My Mom got these for me because she knows I like comic book movies. They fit nicely in the rest of my Marvel figurine collection!

Have you played Far Cry 5? If so what did you think about it? Let me know in the comments below!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 108!

I went thrift shopping and found some nice PS2 and Xbox games (and a PS2 demo unit that I couldn’t buy 😦 ). I also got a couple of remakes for the PS4 and a guide for my favorite game of all time!

Stuntman (PS2)

I remember playing this game when I was a kid and the only thing that I thought back then was ‘Damn, this is difficult’. I look forward to playing it again to see if I got better at the game.

Titan Quest, Assassins Creed Rogue Remastered, A Way Out (PS4)

Titan Quest and A Way Out are games that I bought solely to play them in co-op with a friend. We’ve been playing a bit of ‘A Way Out’ and so far it’s fun. Assassins Creed Rogue is the only AC game that I’ve never played but people told me that it was a lot like Assassins Creed Black Flag and that’s my favorite AC game so I decided to give it a go!

GTA Vice City Guide

I’m a big fan of physical guide; I just love reading trough them even when I’m not playing the game. I never had a guide for GTA Vice City so I went on Amazon and found one in pretty good condition for €10. Great deal if you ask me.

Project Gotham Racing 2 and SSX On Tour (Xbox)

PGR is my favorite racing franchise on the Xbox (Yes, I prefer PGR over Forza) and I’m really sad that they don’t make a new one but I can now at least relive the greatness that is PGR2. SSX On Tour isn’t a great SSX game but it’s still fun and it was cheap so why not?

What’s your take on the remake/remastered culture? Do you like that they remake some of the older gems or do you think that it’s just a quick cash grab? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 107!

This week I got some awesome figurines and I added a bunch of games to my Xbox collection!

Dead Island Definitive Edition: Slaughter Pack (PS4) (not pictured)

As a horror movie/game guy I just couldn’t pass this one up. Great games and some really nice extra’s for a budget price. If you want to see an unboxing for it; https://wp.me/p6lqKe-e0

Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow, Knight of the Temple Infernal Crusade, Obscure, Soldier of Fortune II, Batman Begins, Cold Fear and XIII (Xbox)

All of these games were cheap (around €5 each) and that’s the reason why I got them. I really want to play XIII but I don’t want to open it up (it’s still factory sealed). I might just go out and buy another copy because that’s an amazing game!

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite Collectors Edition

The game isn’t that great (it’s OK but pretty disappointing if you’re a fan of the series) but the collectors edition is something else. You get four amazing figurines; Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Chun-Li and Mega Man and you also get a box (that lights up) with the Infinity stones!

What do you guys think about collecting factory sealed stuff? Stupid (because you can’t play it) or smart (because the value may increase)? Let me know in the comments!

Dead Island Definitive Edition: Slaughter Pack Unboxing!

I just love horror movies and games; there’s something about the sense of fear and tension that gets me everytime. Today I found a very cool ‘special’ edition for Dead Island Definitive Edition; it comes with a figurine, a weapon from the game and a poster (and of course the games). I already own the definitive edition of Dead Island but I just couldn’t pass this up, especially for the price (€30). What do you guys think about this special edition? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 106!

Microsoft dominates this weeks edition of ‘Weekly pick ups’! I get games for three different Microsoft systems and a PS4 game manages to sneak in to make a last minute appearance!

Rad Rodgers (Xbox One)

I got this one because it was very cheap (€20) on release and so far it has been exactly what I thought it would be; a budget platform game. It’s nothing special but it’s definitely fun and the low price makes it an easy pick up.

Perfect Dark Zero, Kameo Elements of Power and Fable III (Xbox 360).

These three were pretty high on my ‘wanted’ list and I found them all for a very good price (Perfect Dark was €2 and Kameo and Fable III were around €7 each). Can’t wait to play some deathmatch games against bots on Perfect Dark!

Brute Force, Oddworld Munch’s Oddysee, Unreal II and Need for Speed Underground (Xbox)

Found these in a thrift store for €3/€4 each. I haven’t played any of them (well, I did play Need for Speed Underground but who hasn’t?) but I look forward to checking them out.

Kromaia Omega (PS4)

I’m a bit of a sucker for shoot em up games (Ikaruga, R-Type, …) so I got this to feed my shoot em up needs. The game isn’t exactly what I thought it would be but it isn’t bad. You might want to check out some YouTube video’s before buying it though.

Weekly pick-ups: Week 105!

Another big week for pick ups! I got some sweet collectors editions and a brand new controller!

Kingdom Come Deliverance Collectors Edition (PS4)

A great collectors edition for a very good price. If you want to see everything that’s in it, check out my unboxing video here; https://wp.me/p6lqKe-dO

Dynasty Warriors 9 + Steelcase and Carmageddon Max Damage (PS4)

The first open world Dynasty Warriors game! The steelcase was a pre-order extra; great if you love that kind of stuff (and I do love a good steelcase). Carmageddon was cheap and I just wanted to see how it’s like.

Shadow of the Colossus + Valus Statue (PS4)

According to critics, this is the best remaster ever. I still haven’t played it but I have shown the Valus statue in detail on video; check that out right here https://wp.me/p6lqKe-dQ

Sea of Thieves Limited Edition Controller (Xbox One)

A fantastic looking controller for the Xbox One. The skull logo actually lights up in the dark but I’ll probably never see it because I’m not planning on actually using the controller.

Call of Duty Valor Collection

This statue originally retailed at €150 here in Belgium. I liked the look of it but I didn’t want to pay that much. A few days ago however I saw it on Amazon for around €50 which is a much better price so I picked it up. It looks great and it gets a spot in my Call of Duty WWII Collection!
