Justice League Comic Con Trailer !

First thoughts: I have been excited for this movie ever since the first teaser dropped and this trailer just fuels my excitement. Some of the shots in this trailer are just drop dead gorgeous! Justice League seems to be a great mix between action and humor; something that previous DCEU movies had trouble with (Ezra Miller is hilarious as the Flash). I’m also pumped to see Ben Affleck as Batman again; he was one of the highlights of Batman v Superman. But what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!

Justice League Trailer #1 !

First thoughts: THIS LOOKS AMAZING (but so do most of the DC trailers so I’m going to slow down my own hype train). The action looks to be very solid and there’s some humor in it to lighten up the mood. What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 50!

My pick-ups have slowed down the last couple of weeks because I’m saving money for all the upcoming game releases. But I still managed to buy two things this week. Let’s see what I got!

Justice League: Gotham City Breakout (DVD)

I normally don’t buy DVD’s anymore because blu-ray’s are better quality and they don’t cost that much more. But for this movie I made an exception because I really wanted that Nightwing LEGO figurine.

Resident Evil Revelations (PC)

Resident Evil games have changed a lot over the years. They started out as survival horror games and transitioned to a more ‘horror shooter’ game in recent years. That change didn’t always work (Resident Evil 6 for example is rubbish) but I really like Revelations. I owned it for the WiiU and when I saw it on sale on Steam I didn’t really hesitate to buy it.

Wonder Woman and Justice League trailers !

First thoughts: I’m super excited for both films! I always thought that Gal Gadot was going to be a great Wonder Woman and the trailer (and Batman vs Superman) shows that I was right. About the Justice League: I really want to see how they handle all the different members of the Justice League. My biggest concern is that they don’t give all the characters enough screentime/story development. Both of the trailers however are looking very good and they did (for me at least) what a good trailer should do; make you want to see the movie. What do you guys think about these trailers? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 7!

Last Sunday I was browsing Amazon and I saw that they were having a blu-ray sale. You could pick out 2 blu-ray for 10 pounds! I searched through the selection of movies and I picked out these two!

Justice League: Throne of Atlantis + Batman vs Robin (blu-ray)

I’ve seen both films fairly recently and I thought they were pretty good so it was a no-brainer for me to pick them up.  The sale is still going on Amazon so if you want to check it out: http://goo.gl/aFNZGE

What did you guys buy this week? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 1

In this weekly segment I do a roundup of all the things that I bought this week. Sometimes it will be a big haul, some weeks it might just be one item. But let’s dive into the stuff I got this week!

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham (PS4)

Picked this up at a local toy store for €27 which isn’t too bad. I’ve always been a fan of the Lego games but I’m never really willing to pay full price for them. But I always pick them up when they are (relatively) cheap.

Funko Pop The Joker and Robin (Batman ’66)

I liked the look of them and I’m a big fan of the 1966 Batman serial. Some say it’s too campy and cheesy but sometimes I like a less serious version of Batman. The Joker one came from Amazon.co.uk and I bought Robin from Bol.com .

Justice League: Crisis on two Earths (2 disc special edition DVD)

I bought it because it was pretty cheap on Amazon.co.uk (around €5). Can’t do too much wrong for that price. It has a 7.3 rating on IMDB so it can’t be that bad.

Red Hood/Arsenal #1 and Batman Beyond #1

I wanted to start reading some DC comics and thanks to the reboot (Convergence) I had a good place to start. I liked the cover-art for Batman Beyond and I’m a fan of the Arsenal in ‘Arrow’ so the choice was pretty easy.
