My E3 2017 Top 5 !

A ton of new games have been announced/shown on E3 and I’m going to list my personal favorites. Let’s do this!

1.God Of War : Be A Warrior

We got some gameplay footage of the new God of War game and it looks amazing! I’m already looking forward to kill that giant snake thing we see at the end of the trailer.

2. Spider-Man!

An exclusive Spider-Man game for the PS4 will always interest me especially one that looks as good as this one. The combat reminds me a lot of the Batman Arkham games and that’s a good thing; I really love the timing based combat. A good Spider-Man off course has good web slinging and this game seems to deliver on that front; the web slinging looks fun and solid. The worst part of this game is its release date: 2018. Bummer!

3. Call of Duty WII Multiplayer trailer!

I haven’t been excited for a new COD game since Black Ops but this one put me right back on the hype train. I’m skeptical that the multiplayer will look this good and fluid but we shall see. The trailer didn’t show any exuberant skins on the weapons and I hope that this is also the case for the final game. I don’t want to play a World War 2 shooter with a pink MP40.

4. Skull and Bones

My favorite Assassins Creed game is Black Flag so you can see why I’m excited for this game. I’d love a good online pirate game but it is still Ubisoft so I’m skeptical; how are the servers going to be ? What about the balance ? I’m going to try to get access to the beta to see how the game plays but the trailer does look good.

5. A Way Out

2 brothers breaking out of jail might not sound like the most interesting premise ever but what is interesting is the fact that it is co-op. I love a good co-op game and this might be a very good one!

Honorable mentions:

  • Wolfenstein II The New Colossus
  • Marvel vs Capcom Infinite (the gameplay looks great!)
  • Xbox One X
  • Need for Speed Payback
  • Metro Exodus

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 56!

The last couple of weeks were pretty crazy in regard of pick ups: new consoles left and right were added to my collection. This week is totally different because I only bought 1 item. Let’s see what that mysterious item is!

FIFA17 (PS4)

FIFA is probably the only game that I buy on the release day. I like the game so far; passing seems even more important than in FIFA16, the Journey is a lot of fun but, like always, there are also some issues. The kit selection screen doesn’t really work in Ultimate Team; it doesn’t always show your active kit which causes some problems. And the menu’s in general don’t feel smooth but that can (and probably will) be patched soon.

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 51!

The best thing about PC gaming (for me) is definitely the huge amount of deals that you can find online. There are a ton of, legit, sites (not like G2A) that offer excellent games for a very low price. But sometimes you don’t even need another website to find a good deal. Sometimes you just need to open the publishers own webstore.

Battlefield Hardline (PC)

I know I know; this game isn’t as popular as its predecessors but that doesn’t make it a bad game. The single player is refreshing and is something that we have never seen in the Battlefield franchise. The multiplayer is solid and fun but it isn’t as great as Battlefield 4 which is why it received so much criticism from fans. Despite that I’m still having a ton of fun with the game (both on and offline) and for me it’s €5 well spent!

Battlefield 1 gets an exclusive collectors edition!

The release trailer of Battlefield 1 is the most liked trailer of all time and that is a good indication of how excited people are for this game. And like every major game release these days, Battlefield 1 will have a collectors edition. Let’s see what’s inside!

This edition will include:

  • Cloth Propaganda Poster
  • Messenger Pigeon Tube With “DLC” Code Inside
  • Steel Case For Game
  • 14″ Statue Of Cover Character
  • Deck of BF1 Playing Cards

The price for all of this will be around 220 US dollars which I feel is a bit much. The figurine looks good but I don’t feel like it totally justifies the price. The rest of the items are pretty OK (if they are high quality) but I still feel like this is priced just too high. A price around 150 US dollars would have been much better in my opinion. I’m not going to buy this one at its release but when I find one for a decent price (new or used) I might consider buying it.

What do you guys think about this collectors edition? Let me know in the comments!
