Justice League Comic Con Trailer !

First thoughts: I have been excited for this movie ever since the first teaser dropped and this trailer just fuels my excitement. Some of the shots in this trailer are just drop dead gorgeous! Justice League seems to be a great mix between action and humor; something that previous DCEU movies had trouble with (Ezra Miller is hilarious as the Flash). I’m also pumped to see Ben Affleck as Batman again; he was one of the highlights of Batman v Superman. But what do you guys think? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 65!

The holidays are behind us and that means that a lot of big games are going to be released in the next couple of months. I also picked up one game (in the Steam sale) but it wasn’t a very new game. I also got a blu-ray set for Christmas and a couple of comics. Let’s get to it!

Dead Rising 3 Apocalypse Edition

I’m a big fan of the Dead Rising games and I was pretty sad when I found out it was an Xbox One/PC exclusive when it was released(back then I only had a PS4). But since its release I’ve gotten a gaming PC so when I saw this on sale I didn’t hesitate to buy it! A lot of stuff that made the previous Dead Rising games challenging has been changed; you can now save from a menu instead of going to a bathroom and you can combine weapons directly from the menu (if you have the blueprint); in the previous games you needed a work bench for that. These changes make the overall experience a little easier but not less fun. I’m playing this in co-op with a friend and it’s a ton of fun.

The Hobbit/The Lord of The Rings Extended Edition (blu-ray)

A lovely Christmas present that I got from my parents. The Hobbit trilogy isn’t as great (it shouldn’t have been 3 movies to begin with) but I’m still pretty happy with this boxset. I already owned LOTR Extended on DVD but the blu-ray version looks just a bit better.

Batman: Court of Owls and City of Owls

I got interested in the Court of Owls because of ‘Gotham’ and that’s why I bought these two TPB’s.

What awesome presents did you guys get? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 31 !

Nananananana Batman, Batman, Batman ! The Dark Knight returns in this week’s edition of ‘Weekly pick ups’. The caped crusader is joined by a horde of the undead.

Batman Arkham Knight Issue 10-12

The final issues of the Arkham Knight comic series. I’m currently at issue 8 and I really like these comics but that might be because I’m a huge Arkham Knight fan (well not really a fan of those Riddler challenges but the rest was pretty great).

Arkham Knight Comics and Dying Light

Dying Light; The Following enhanced edition (PS4)

I was searching for a new game to play in co-op with my brother and we stumbled upon Dying Light. We’ve played it for around 5 hours now and it’s a really fun and challenging game.

What’s your favorite zombie game? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 24

LEGO is awesome; that’s just a fact.  They have a lot of licenses that I really like (DC,Marvel,LOTR,…) but I picked up 2 pieces of LEGO from another famous franchise. Can you guess which one?

Batman Arkham Knight issue 7-9

I’m still reading the Arkham Knight comics and these are the next 3 issues I needed.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 (PS3)

Yes, I know the Ultimate version is the better one but finding that is almost as difficult as finding Bigfoot. I did find one copy but the guy was asking €45 for it and I’m not crazy so I decided to go with the normal version which cost me €8 of eBay.

Lego Star Wars TIE Advanced Prototype and Republic Gunship

The TIE Advanced Prototype is another set that was bundled with the Saturday edition of the newspaper. The Republic Gunship was on sale for €6 so I didn’t think twice before I picked it up.

What franchise do you want to see as LEGO? Let me know in the comments!
