Mutant Animal figurines Unboxing!

Last week I was looking on Amazon for a figurine/statue of King Kong. I didn’t find a figurine (well I did but they were a but too expensive) but I did stumble upon these. They are figurines of animals that use medieval weapons; yes, I know that that sounds weird. They are made by a company named Papo; it’s a French company and they make all kinds of figurines. At first I was only interested in the gorilla but I then decided to grab 4 of them which I show you guys in this video. My verdict; they look pretty cool and they are pretty well detailed so if you’re looking for some weird animal figurines you know which ones to get!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 101!

What a crazy week! I got some more PS3 games and I added an absolute gem to my PS2 collection!

Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Aliens vs Predator, ModNation Racers, Sacred 3 first edition, Dragon Age 1 and Dragon Age 2 (PS3)

The ‘get 3, pay 2’ deal was still going strong so I decided to add some more games to my PS3 collection. I mostly got games that looked interesting. I played Modnation Racers for a bit and that’s really fun. And today I’m going to see how Crysis 2 runs on a PS3.

Assassins Creed Ezio Collection (Xbox One)

My colleague is a big Assassins Creed fan and he’s the reason that I wanted to revisit the series. The Ezio collection is perfect for that because it has 3 games!

Assassins Creed (Xbox 360)

The only Assassins Creed game that I ever completed. I got it just to complete my collection but because it is backwards compatible with the Xbox One, I can still pop it in and play it sometime.

Assassins Creed Syndicate, Sniper Elite 4 and Dragon Age Inquisition GOTY (PS4)

I bought Sniper Elite 4 in an impuls but it was really entertaining. The story is a bit short but it’s a very enjoyable game. The other two games fit in nicely with the rest of my purchases (completing the series of both Assassins Creed and Dragon Age).

Metal Slug Anthology (PS2)

I’m a HUGE Metal Slug fan and this Anthology gives me a ton of Metal Slug for a very low price.

Incredible Hulk Q-Fig

The Q-Fig series is a bit like funko POP’s but better (at least for me) because the overal finish and look is just nicer (once again, just my opinion). My brother got this for me and it looks great!

What’s your favorite game in the Assassins Creed franchise? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly pick-ups: Week 100!

Time for a party! For this 100th blog entry I got some sweet PS3 and Xbox One games and 1 pretty big pluche!

GTA IV, GTA Episodes of Liberty City, Army of Two 40th Day, Warriors Orochi 3 and Dynasty Warriors Strike force (PS3)

I wasn’t a big fan of GTA IV when I first played it but I decided to give it a second chance and I also got the two big DLC packs for it. The three other games were a bundle; get 3, pay 2.

Stardew Valley Collectors Edition and Rayman Legends (Xbox One)

Normally I only buy Xbox One exclusives but I made an exception for these two games. Stardew Valley looks to be a lot of fun (and a bit of a time eater) and I just love Rayman Legends; the game is so beautiful and fun to play!

Junimo pluche

Got it for €12 for no particular reason. It just looks cool.

Medal of Honor Rising Sun (Xbox)

A great entry in the, now dead, Medal of Honor franchise. Got it for €2 in a second hand shop.

Master Roshi coin bank

I’m a big Dragon Ball fan and I found this great looking coin bank for €12 and I just couldn’t resist it. Fits in nicely with the rest of my Dragon Ball figurines!

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 99!

Happy New Year everybody! I start of 2018 with a pretty big haul; couple of games and two new Amiibos!

Link Majora’s Mask and Link Ocarina of Time Amiibo’s

I was never a huge fan of the Zelda franchise but since I got my 3DS XL I started to love the franchise so I got some catching up to do. These two Amiibo’s fit perfectly in my Zelda collection!

Hitman Agent 47 Statue

I remember playing the demo of Hitman 2 on my PS2 and even though I was very bad at the game, I still loved it. And that love never went away. I got this statue for €40 which, for me, is a good deal. The detailing is nice and it’s well painted; I’m just not a big fan of the eyes.

Hitman The Complete First Season (PS4)

Building from my previous purchase; I finally got the first season of Hitman. Can’t wait to play it!

Pokémon Silver and Zelda: A Link between two World (3DS)

Pokémon Silver is just a big nostalgia trip; even the box reminds me of the glorious Gameboy Color days! The Zelda game was cheap and fits perfectly in my Zelda collection (just like the Amiibos from before)

What’s your game of the year? Let me known in the comments!

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 98: Christmas Edition!

Happy holidays everyone! I got some sweet gifts from my family and I picked some other things up as well!

Arrow Season 3 – 4 – 5 (Blu-Ray)

A gift that I got from my dad who knows that I love the show. I’m not a huge fan of season 4 but I’m still thankful for it because now I own every season of Arrow on blu-ray. Pretty sweet.

Super Mario 3D Land (3DS)

I’m steadily growing my 3DS collection and this one was a must have from day one. I’ve played it a fair bit and I love it!

Saruman POP

My brother got this as a surprise gift and it’s great! I’m not the biggest Funko pop fan but this one looks really really good!

Ghost Recon Wildlands, Diablo 3 and Just Cause 3 (PS4)

Two games that my mom got me. Both were on my ‘wanted’ list for a while and I’ve played a bit of Ghost Recon and so far it’s pretty good. The guide for Just Cause 3 is a great extra! I’m a sucker for physical guide of games so this one is right up my alley! Diablo 3 is a bit of a risk; I wanted it for PC but I got the PS4 version just to see how it’s like and if it is fun to play on a console. If I don’t like then I’ll buy the PC version.

King Dedede Amiibo

I’m trying to get all the Kirby related Amiibo’s and with this one I’m one step closer to completing my collection!

NES/Famicom compendium!

It’s an unofficial book featuring all of the NES/Famicom games. It’s well made and the illustrations in the book are great. Great collectible to have!

Super Mario Bros 3 Pixel Pal

This just looks great and it looks even better in the dark with the light on (see picture below). Just a lovely collectible that I bought for myself.

Do you guys like Funko Pop’s? Let me know in the comments!

Weekly Pick-Ups: Week 97!

Weekly pick ups returns with a bang! I added a lot of games to my PS3 collection and I got a new console! Let’s do this!

SNES Mini

I bought this for two reason: to play Super Castlevania IV and Super Mario World and the reason that I got this instead of a classic SNES; the size. This fits perfectly on my desk without needing to move everything around.

Soul Calibur IV, Soul Calibur V, Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions, Dynasty Warriors 7 Empires, Silent Hill Homecoming (PS3)

The announcement of Soul Calibur VI made me so excited that I wanted to play a Soul Calibur game again. I found both games for a very good price and I already finished both of them. Great games and I can’t wait for Soul Calibur VI. Spider-Man Shattered Dimensions is a great Spider-Man game because you can play as different versions of Spider-Man who all play differently. The noir version of Spider-Man is a stealth specialist, whilst the venom version of Spider-Man uses brute force. The variety really makes the game fun to play. I’m a big fan of Dynasty Warriors games and I still missed this one in my collection so I picked it up. And then we got Silent Hill Homecoming; I haven’t played it yet but I really wanted to play a Silent Hill game. I’m still looking for the HD collection of the first games but that seems to be pretty hard to find (and a bit too expensive).

Dead Rising 4: Frank’s Big Package (PS4)

This version includes all the DLC and extra’s that were released for Dead Rising 4 on Xbox One and PC. I’m not a huge fan of this game because it is a bit too easy. Still a fun game to play though.

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (Xbox One)

One of the most popular games on Steam right now and that’s why people were really excited that it would get an Xbox One release. Well it turns out that the game isn’t optimized for the Xbox One and therefore it runs horribly. The graphics are bad and the framerate dips below 30 a bit too much. It is an early access title so things can still improve drastically but so far it isn’t a great game on the Xbox One.

Puzzle Bobble Universe (3DS)

It’s Puzzle Bobble; what more can I say? This game is perfect for short gaming sessions of 10-15 minutes and that’s exactly why I got it.

Are you guys a fan of these mini versions of classic consoles? And which console do you want to see remade as a mini console? Let me know in the comments!
