7500 (2014) Review!

Everything seems perfectly fine when flight 7500 from Los Angeles to Tokyo is ready for takeoff. But as soon as the plane is in the air strange things start to happen. The passengers and the flight crew try to find out what’s happening and how they can stop it.

The entire movie is set in an airplane which gives it a ‘claustrophobic’ feel and that’s basically the only positive part of this movie: the setting is pretty good but the rest is mediocre at best. The acting is poor even though the movie has some decent actors. You never get a real sense of danger from any of them which kills a lot of the tension.

Most of the ‘scares’ are cheap jump scares which aren’t really that scary at all. The ending is pretty weak. I’m not going to spoil it but it felt like the director took the easy way out.

Conclusion: the setting is pretty much the only thing that this movie has going for it. It’s not really scary and the ending is just bad. Not worth your money or your time.

Score: 4/10
